要約 (任意): (英) This paper attempts to develop a fire spread model using cellular automata in order to serve the scene of collaborative planning with citizen participation and enlighten inhabitants on the hazard of fire in the district where they live. In modeling, in order to represent more realistic phenomenon of fire spread in the model, grid cell of 3 by 3 meters is used, taking the relation to the limit of fire spread into consideration. The following factors causing fire spread are incorporated into the model: 1) flammability of building, 2) weather conditions, and 3) characteristics of built-up area. The state of cell is defined as follows: 1) unburnable, 2) no burning yet, 3) catching fire, 4) on fire and 5) extinction. The judgment of the cell concerned catching fire is done by using the potential calculated by the factors and the stochastic calculation process to simulate a dynamic and complex phenomenon of fire spread. The CA model proposed here is applied to Futagawa district in Toyohashi, one of historical built-up areas in Japan. The usefulness of the model is shown from the results of some simulation cases by wind direction and velocity.  (日)    [継承]
