(英) Measurement of the "emotional sensitivity" and "emotion at moment" using Power Map Analysis and Emotion Spectrum Analysis Method

(英) The purpose of this study was to determine the emotional sensitivityof persons through empirical determination of electroencephalographic (EEG)data. With EEG electrodes in place, participants were requested to view anemotionally-charged video presentation.'Sensitivity at the moment' wasmeasured and found to be significantly changed, showing evidence ofemotional sensitivity at the point of occurrence. This change facilitates theunderstanding of caring emotion as openness to a formed intention of knowingthe other as caring person. Competencies in caring for persons are critical tounderstanding the valuing of technological competency as expression of caring.Technological competency as knowing others intentionally as 'sensitive beings'provided the impetus for the development of 'sensibility estimation technique'using brain wave activities to measure it.
